I ended up coming back and giving RuneScape another attempt
Although I ended Dragon Slayer in roughly two days, as I said when you look up things, it's significantly faster lol. I also absolutely adore how some of the stuff is. If I really want to OSRS buy gold focus hard and attempt I could do that and get a lot done and battle enemies, but if my friends want to play a game I can throw RS on my other monitor and still make meaningful progress with something like fishing without needing to focus on it.
I also discovered Twitch Prime provides you membership for a few weeks, and guy I'm just as confused as before. There is so many new quests new skills, new things, and it is just so different and overwhelming, but I love it. I decided that now that I have and the bond system appears fantastic because of that. Making money is my favorite thing to do in every game, and with the new(?) Grand bonds and exchange it provides me the best reason to do it in Runescape also, and man I am very excited for this. There's so many money making methods, a few are even decently AFK-able, and it's been a lot of fun researching options and figuring out exactly what abilities are best for earning gp.
Also some random man walked up and gave me 200k gold although I hadn't ever typed a single thing at the 10 hours I'd played up until that point, and I realize that is not a frequent thing, but like I have never seen that in any other match in my entire life and it reminded me of the fall parties which used to return when I played with before and that was super amazing. Anyhow, I know this is long and really quite pointless, but with the servers down and there being quite a lot of negativity right now for this, I figured that a little positivity couldn't hurt. I am eager to see where my OSRS journey takes me, and I am really happy I ended up coming back and giving RuneScape another attempt. I had forgotten just how enjoyable and unique it really is.
Just remember. Utilizing bonds when you don't own a bank nevertheless will keep you bankrupt for quite a long time. O suggest paying with irl cash. I haven't fully decided how I want to advance with that, I have already made about 3mil so I feel as it won't be that hard but I'm also not sure how much gp I am gonna desire for a variety of things in RuneScape haha. I have noticed a number of the items are hilariously expensive. I played that for a little while as well. Maybe 3-4 months or so, but didnt get that much in terms of skill progression and making a lot of cash. I bought it with irl money and doubled my lender without trying last month. I had a lot more time to do things I would like to do rather than grinding to find a bond and than play somewhat.
I am not going back to bonds unless I could manage it easily (making 4m within an hour or two) and also have sufficient stored left after I purchased it. I'll need to see how things play out, so far I am just having fun building a bit of gold and gradually going through things, but I might decide later that I want to concentrate more on skills and less on money earning and only purchase membership with cash rather than I certainly do not want to be creating like 4 mil each two weeks and then having to use it on a bond just to remain in members, therefore gonna have to cheap RS gold see how it ends up moving.
